We don't ask, where are you from? We always ask, where do you belong? Because belonging is so much more than the place you were born.
Belonging is looking out over a hard, cold landscape and your heart fills with warmth. It is knowing the weather will change in the blink of an eye but loving every moment of it. It is the familiar feeling of the wind in our hair and that cold breath of winter's air filling our lungs.
Belonging is living on the edge of the earth, in the middle of the ocean, where the only thing consistent is our love for each other yet knowing there is no other place on earth we would rather be. This is home.
